This is the 2nd drawing (by Segan) inspired by a black & white photo of a mid-19th C. Hanukah lamp for a synagogue seen in the 1983 book Precious Legacy - Judaic Treasures from the Czechoslovak State Collections edited by David Altshuler, pub. by Summit Books & The Smithsonian's Traveling Exhibition Services). There were 140,000 Judaic items in the warehouses in Prague at the end of WWII; that the Nazis had stolen from the Jews of Czechoslovakia whom the Austrian and German Nazis murdered.
