Frye Art Museum, Seattle. ‘Holocaust Education in the 21st Century – An Illustrated lecture,’ auditorium lecture by British art historian and professor Dr. Deborah Schultz of London, England. Her lecture focused on the art of murdered artist Charlotte Salomon; Rumanian Holocaust survivor artist Arnold Daghani; Segan’s Under the Wings art. [This was VHS filmed by the museum; the art is not clearly seen but the audio-narration is sharp]

Campus Christian Ministry-Covenant House, Seattle. Pastor Brooke Rolston presented a slide class on Segan’s UTW art and Israel Bernbaum’s to a group of University of Washington students
1996
Northwest Actors Theater, Seattle During performances of the play ‘A Nail in the Sole’ (about the resistance during the Holocaust, including a theatrical portrayal of Warsaw ghetto prisoner Rubinsztajn), UTW series drawings and Israel Bernbaum’s paintings ‘Remember’ & ‘Gedenk!’ were projected on cloth panels installed over the stage. The play was written by, produced by and acted by local theater professionals; actors included elementary, junior high and high school students.

drawings. The inclusion of UTW art was organized by student Vincent Saenz.
Annual Retreat of Campus Ministers of Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Franciscan Retreat Center. An UTW art & Israel Bernbaum – My Brother’s Keeper slide class was presented by campus pastor Brooke Rolston of Seattle. Rev. Rolston, now retired, was ordained American Baptist.
